What's this repair for?
Knocking in is required on all cricket bats. You can either spend the time yourself to look after it or let me look after it for you.
What we do:
All knocking in is done in-house on our own knocking in machine. We oil the face, then machine knock the bat with 10,000-20,000 knocks. We finish by buffing the oiled face, rolling the edges and hand knocking the toe and edges. The bat will be ready to go into the nets against old balls but needs to be worked through before using in a game.
This takes 1-2 working days to complete. Please don't send your bat with an applied facing as the knocking in machine will damage the facing. If you bat has a facing applied please also add a resleeve to your order.
