Grading:

Players: Lighter/Players willow. Grain structure unimportant as long as it performs

Grade 1+: 10+ straight, even, clean grains

Grade 1: 6-9 straight, even, clean grains

Grade 2: Some imperfections which do not effect performance

Grade 3: Some imperfections which do effect performance in some areas

The Willow: The Featherblade willow is the top of the line willow, usually reserved for professional cricketers. It is naturally lightweight (low density) which allows for a bigger, lighter, end product. This wood can generally be made into lightweight, full shapes. This wood is selected on performance and density, rather than how it looks. Stock is limited.
