The first bat with a middle extending from low to high. Mass runs the length of the spine instead of the edges, so there is no single sweet spot to find, because the whole blade is one. The 2.0 keeps the enormous Torpedo middle and adds edge, a bigger profile through the drive without the dead weight.
Are Torpedo bats legal?
Yes, 100% legal, at every level of cricket. Every Torpedo is shaped inside the MCC size limits as standard, so it passes the umpire’s bat gauge and is legal from juniors right through to first grade. You do not need to ask for it and there is no separate match version. It is simply how we build them.
How long until I get it?
Built to order at JPG HQ in Sydney. Allow 2 weeks. Knocking in only adds 1 to 2 days thanks to our in-house machine.
Shipping and returns
We ship worldwide from Sydney. Rates and any duties calculate at checkout before you pay, so there is nothing to settle on arrival. A custom bat is made to your spec, so it cannot be returned for change of mind. Pick up from JPG HQ in Sydney is free. Full details on our Delivery and Returns page.
Warranty
All JPGavan bats purchased within 12 months are repaired free of charge if a fault occurs from normal play. Damage from wear and tear, misuse or bad shots is not covered. Full details on our Delivery and Returns page.
