Book in to have your bat shaped during our Black Friday sale. Custom bats are 20% off at a perfect time to grab a new stick! This is our busiest week of the year so we will only have time to select your willow and shape the bat. After your booking is complete we will complete your bat once our sale is done (December 4th). You can opt for knocking in, engraving, stickers and facing on the day. Once completed we can deliver your bat to your door (free), or have it ready to collect. 

Our clefts are cut to fit Small Mens, Short Handle, Long Handle or Long Blade bats. If you are looking for a size other than this please let us know and allow 24 hours.

5 mins - pick up or drop off repairs/orders

15 mins - try on pads/gloves ect, buy something from the shop, quick chat

30 mins - try on full kit, discuss custom bats, pick out a pre-made bat

Feel free to pick any option, these are just suggestions and we’re happy to have you at the shop for as long as you’d like! Outside of your booking times we may also have other customers with bookings. 

Weekday deposit $20, Weekend deposit $50. This will go towards your order. Deposit will be lost if booking is missed.

For no extra cost to your custom bat you can come into our Sydney based workshop, discuss and design your perfect cricket bat and even watch it being made by.

90 minute appointment at 8 Brodie Street, Rydalmere in Sydney to watch head bat maker and JPGavan owner Josh Gavan talk through all custom bat options and hand-make your new cricket bat while you wait and watch. Set up a time and come in! You can watch the whole shaping process and take home a perfect brand new bat!

Maximum 3 people in the workshop during an appointment. See our bat grading and pricing here. Our clefts are cut for short handle or small mens. If you’re likely to need a different size we may have to select a cleft and size it correctly before you come in. Just get in touch before your appointment.

Pay a $50 deposit for the custom bat. The deposit will be lost if the appointment is missed or arrival is over 30 minutes late. Reschedule up to 24 hours before the appointment.

If you'd like the bat to also be knocked in this will add a few days to complete. Just leave it with us and collect when ready or we can have it sent to your door.

Full knocking in during a 1 hour session. Drop your bat off and collect it fully machine and hand knocked in, sleeved, oiled and shoe gooed after just 60 minutes.

Spend 2 hours with head bat maker and owner Josh Gavan making your own cricket bat at 8 Brodie Street, Rydalmere in Sydney. You will be shown all bat options before having the opportunity to handcraft the bat yourself under the watchful eye of Josh. Set up a time and come in! You can do as much of the whole shaping process as you'd like and Josh can take over wherever you want. At the end of the session you'll take home your brand new bat!

You can do as much or as little of the making as you want - Josh will expertly do the rest.
