The pads: The word streamline comes to mind when describing the JPGavan Staple St Ives batting pads. Designed to the specs of Ellyse Perry, the pads are more narrow than a standard batting pad allowing for extra comfort while batting/running/moving. A small amount of padding bulk has been removed to aid for a lighter pad benefiting airflow and the ability to run between wickets without being weighed down by a large oversized pair of pads. Available in our unique, new and improved sizing sizing Small Adult, Adult and Large Adult.

Why St Ives?: "St Ives is basically still my local nets I go down to with my Dad and my brother, you know just spending lots of hours hitting cricket balls and bowling and it’s probably where I feel the most comfortable and where I probably true feel like the essence of why I play cricket is still alive and it’s just so nice to share that with two people that are so important to me."

Sausage finger gloves are perfect for full protection but don't offer the comfortable, flexible feel of having splits.
