The shape
Why a Torpedo
Traditional bats put wood in the edges. The Torpedo puts it where the ball actually meets the bat.
Low to high
The first bat with a middle extending from low to high. Mass runs the length of the spine instead of the edges — there's no single sweet spot to find, because the whole blade is one.
Explosive ping
More wood behind the strike zone means the ball leaves faster from a bigger area — not just from one perfect spot.
Now with edge
The 2.0 keeps the enormous Torpedo middle and adds edge — a bigger profile through the drive without the dead weight.

Choose your cleft
RequiredThese are the actual clefts on the rack right now — the one you pick becomes your bat. Leave it on Bat maker's pick and we'll select the best cleft on the rack for your spec.
Extras
The fun bit. Finish your bat exactly how you want it.
Extra grips
A 2nd or 3rd grip stacked on the handle — thickens the feel and softens vibration. Fitted for you.
Facing
A protective layer over the face, applied free of charge. Clear film keeps the willow visible and guards against surface cracking. Fibre tape is the tougher, old-school option.
Toe protection
Shoe Goo seals the toe against moisture for everyday protection.
Knocking in
Every new bat must be knocked in before play. Do it yourself at home, or we'll do it properly in the workshop before it ships — only adds 1–2 days thanks to our in-house machine.
Personalisation — laser engraving
Your name or initials engraved in a classic engraved-capitals style. On the back or the edge — never the front.
Where should it go?
Custom artwork engraving
Add a logo or design and we'll engrave it — email the file to us after ordering. The laser cuts in one tone, so your file is converted to black and white.
Anything else?
Tell us anything at all about how you want your bat — pickup preference, a bat you loved that we should match, edge size, whatever helps. The more detail the better.
Choosing willow
Which grade
Every grade is the same Torpedo shape, pressed the same way.
| Grade | What you get |
|---|---|
| Featherblade (Players) | Selected on getting the most power for the lightest weight. |
| Professional Plus (G1+) | 10 or more straight, even, clean grains. The premium look. |
| Limited Edition (G1) | 6–9 clean, even grains. High performance. |
| Test (G2) | May have some imperfections that don't affect performance. |
| Performance (G3) | More knots and blemishes, visible on the face. |
