How the session runs

From walking in the door to walking out with your bat.

Arrive at JPG HQ

Come in, have a look around the workshop and see what's on the benches. We're at 8 Brodie Street, Rydalmere NSW 2116.

Meet your bat maker

You'll be working one-on-one with Josh for the whole session.

Talk about what you're after

Your game, the shots you play, the bats you've liked and the ones you haven't.

Choose your specs

Sweet spot, weight, size and handle shape - and anything else you've got in mind.

Pick your cleft

Head to the racks and hand-select the exact piece of English willow your bat comes from.

Watch it being made

Pressed, spliced, shaped and sanded in front of you. Have your say as the pickup comes together in your hands.

Pick stickers and grip

Choose the look, and add Shoe Goo toe protection if you play on synthetic pitches.

Take it home

Finished the same day. Add knocking in and we'll hold it 1-2 days and let you know when it's ready. We can also ship it to you - free over $500.

If your bat doesn't feel quite right once you've used it, we'll adjust the weight free of charge within 30 days of you receiving it. Drop it into the shop at no cost - if you're posting it in, delivery is the only cost.

Before you book

Can I bring someone?

Yes. There's room at the bench for up to 3 people, so bring a parent, partner or a teammate along.

Is this suitable for a junior?

Yes. Juniors build bats sized to them, and it works well with a parent alongside.

What if I don't know what specs I want?

That's the point of the session. Josh will talk you through it from how you bat, not from a spec sheet.

Where are you and where do I park?

JPG HQ, 8 Brodie Street, Rydalmere NSW 2116 - about 30 minutes from the Sydney CBD.

Can I give this as a gift?

Yes. A JPGavan gift card covers the session and the bat, delivered by email on a date you choose with a personal message. Gift cards never expire.

What if I need to change my time?

Your booking confirmation email has everything you need to change your time - find that email and reschedule from there. If you can't find it, call +61 451 293 028.

Your $50 deposit books the 90-minute session and comes off the price of your bat. Nothing else to choose yet: you pick the actual cleft in the workshop, with the bats in your hands.
